Another solution would be SearchTempest, but it's an online search engine rather than an application. After some extensive searching, I've found that SearchTempest remains the only alternative to Craigs Pal. There is no other compatible application that can be used as alternative to Craigs Pal one.
The application is not supported anymore by its developer, because it was reported by Craigslist website for violating the rules. The application didn't need a special computer as it was compatible with an ordinary one. You might need another one since this is not available anymore.
